Totaka's song (Nintendo Music Composer)

Interesting, ive always noticed the song in Mario Paint and its always been mislead as the Mario Paint song. Its just a few notes, but its pretty cool how Kazumi Totaka hides this in several Nintendo games to this day. Anyone ever heard it in these games?

It was weird to hear it in Super Mario Land 2, 2 1/2 minutes in the game over screen. It just comes up once and goes..

Last I heard, it was attributed to Koji Kondo. Clearly some more research has been done.

Considering the sound track for Wario Land has been dumped, it's kind of surprising that no one has found the song in there yet (if it is in fact in there, and why wouldn't it be?).

EDIT: Ah, because Totaka is only credited as a "Testing Player".

lol testing player. i wish he did work on the soundtrack, though. Im 90% sure its in the game boy camera, in the minigames. i wanna play that one again.

Did anyone else notice that the second half of the Pigmasks' march in Mother 3 bears something of a resemblance to Totaka's song? The notes are roughly the same, but the rhythm is different.

You can hear Totaka's song in AC: City Folk as well, if you sit around while riding the bus to town at the start of the game. Kapn or whoever it is whistles it.
