Can't really see the Green LED I cannabolized off a PS1 because of the flash. But it works.

Just gotta find some sort of X-box Emblem to put over the DC one. Thought I could use half of the sticker that came with the 360 but it's transparent.

I'd only go with an XBox sticker if you can get it to play Xbox games. =)

looks cool!

Yhea, I thought of that to. If I had any art skillz I'd make something like a D-box or X-cast sticker and put it over the DC one.

Also those aren't white dots on the black, I used a hammered on paint for the coat and it just looks like that in the pics.

Think I may go a little different way with the next one though...

I just recently did a mod similar to that. I used the same black paint on a gamecube, did the circle, power buttons, and memory card slots yellow, and painted the batman emblem in the circle. It looks amazing. Yours looks amazing too, especially for a first try. Just remember that not being the factory coat that it chips and gets nicks in the paint really easy. Definitely an original idea. with some practice i bet you could paint the xbox symbol over the dc symbol, just make your own cutout and use it as a guide.

I wish I hadn't used acrylic paint for the green just for that reason, it's the only shade of green I could find that semi-matched the X-box emblem, and chips really easilly, I hand brushed about 10 coats on the DC itself. The other black paint is a hammered on spray paint made for plastic and seems to be quite durable.

Also like to see pics of your Game cube...

the batteries in the nikon are dead, so in about an hour i will try and post pics in the off-topic thread. Once the batteries are charged. It doesn't even look like you hand brushed anything, mine always show lines when I do.
