I tried searching on here for an eBay issue on this. I was trying to post an item on eBay and it requires a Paypal option as a payment fee. What is bothering me is the fact that you don't get your funds for 21 days or until positive feedback is given. Are any of you experiencing this? This is the warning I got when using Turbo Lister 2. Any thoughts or suggestions? Has anyone run into a problem with this new rule?

I get the same message, but it doesn't seem to hold my funds ever. I don't really know what to make of it.

I've heard that this depends on your seller rating - if it dips below 4.5, your money might be put on hold. But I'm not entirely sure of this.

Yeah, it's another shitty new ebay rule. It only applies to certain categories or sellers ebay deems "potentially unsafe." I think it's only happened to me once, when I sold a large PS2 system/games lot for my brother. I get the message saying ebay COULD hold the funds for 21 days on almost every item I list, but whenever I check, they haven't yet.

Hmmm...
I have never run into this rule, as funds always seem to be available as soon as the show up in PayPal.
Except for an E-Check, of course.
Sounds like more rules that drive people away from eBay.

I noticed that more gamers are going to Chase the Chuckwagon, for buying and selling.

I forgot about Chasethechuckwagon. Is there a lot of members? With eBay they have ridiculous rules but the auctions are seen by millions. Although if a lot of Digit Press uses CTCW I will definitely use them. What online payment systems does CTCW use?

I forgot about Chasethechuckwagon. Is there a lot of members?500 members as of 06/24/2008, and still growing. Hope the Chuckwagon keeps getting bigger, to keep people away from eBay.

Take a look at the listings Chase The Chuckwagon (http://www.chasethechuckwagon.com/html/categories.htm) and hope you join in the fun!

ChaseTheChuckwagon.com only uses Paypal to accept payment for selling fees. Sellers can choose to use other payment methods if they want - that is up to them. We have a couple using a Google payment method. The issue is that most people have Paypal accounts already so it's easier to integrate it, I think that is the issue.

But feel free to choose whatever payment method you want as a seller. It really has nothing to do with the Chuckwagon. However, if you do take paypal there is an option in our system to imbed a Paypal button into your invoice. The good thing is that since the purchase isn't being made through eBay there is no 21 day hold on the payment :)

I hope that all makes sense. And yes, we would love to have you over on the Chuckwagon. Things are selling suprisingly well over there and its growing every day :)
