I got my first 'B' on a heavy song in DDR max today. I can't remember the name (I'm really bad at that), but it's the second one on the list. Got a 'C' on the first one, woot!

I AAed a couple of the easier heavy double songs in US DDRMAX earlier yesterday (Never Let You Down and Let's Talk it Over - funfunfun), and I also FINALLY unlocked the "Hard Core" oni course. It sure took long enough...lord only knows how many songs I had to play before that bastard thing finally unlocked.

Hard Core is so unfair. I'm For Real and My Summer Love are completely evil in oni mode. Much hate for My Summer Love, in particular. I'm obviously not going anywhere in that course until I can full-combo that one part in the middle, with all the 16th notes. Igh.

Im pretty new to DDR so today I just worked on standard songs and such. Im getting better at the 8th steps and hopefull I can move to heave in a week or so.

I beat My Summer Love Heavy Double...amazing how songs with crappy single steps get great double steps.

Also tried From IIDX and got a 37%....failed Abyss because I tried the "2 feet on 1 arrow" trick and screwed it up really badly....

And played Naoki Standard Double and got 19% (crummy left arrow on 2P side) but I still got first place on the scoreboard! LOL

I didn't get past anything new yesterday when I played (sorry, a day late) but I gave myself a test: a home-made Hell Mix (at least it is for me). Started with Tsugaru on Maniac first, immediately followed by Matsuri Japan on Maniac, then Max 300 on Trick (can't pass it on Maniac yet). My personal Hell mix, no rests, and I was wiped afterwards.
