I'm planning to get DDRMax and a pad after my b-day. Any pad recommendations to buy?

If you've got the cash, the MyMyBox metal ones are pretty good. Otherwise, get a Mad Catz, a 36"x36" piece of particle board, some hardwood floor covering, and a few nails. Put the mat on the board, and nail the floor covering around the edges. It usually works wonders.

They've got some at my Babagges by me. I'm gonna go and actually remember the name and brand tommorrow. They're not the mad Catz but I have seen them before.

Is it the Dance Performance from Naki? I've heard mixed feelings about them, but I've never played on one myself.

This is what I got, and the pads work fine for me. They are starting to rip a little, but it is on the bottom, the top works fine. After I stopped hopping around like a maniac, and started stepping on the directions like a normal person, the pad stopped skidding aroudn the room. Plus, if you already have the game, you can find the pads by themselves on the bay for like 7 bucks.

I think those are the pads I saw for $20 at babagges, Fluke. I'll check when i got there in a couple hours.
