Possible Prototype (and missing from DP guide):

Cricket

I don't know about their rarity unfortunately. I also got the system with tape player. I am cleaning it up and going to test everything. If you have any questions let me know.

I used to have the above programs, including cricket. The DP guide covers cart games, not tape games. Covering and including all tape games would be near impossible

Indeed, only cartridge games are covered in the DP guide, but I'm almost working on Gamebase20 looking to document every Vic20 game released! Anyhow, PM sent about Cricket...

I understand about the effort needed to add the cassettes but since it is a classic gaming device so I thought it would be worthwhile to DP.

Sure, but there are literally hundreds if not thousands of Vic-20 games on cassette if you consider all the stuff that was released here in the US and overseas. Tracking those is better left to a Vic-20 or computer collecting site.

I've got over 1,400 games currently listed in Gamebase20 at the moment and new titles (as witnessed above with "Cricket") are being discovered on a regular basis...

You could still buy Vic20 games from stores here well into 1985 and probably 1986.

Wow, I didn't realize the library was so large for this system...

PS: your cassettes were sent!

Game entries are anything published or released... so games that came out on tape, disk or cartridge, or magazine listings, or compilations, or magazine covermounts etc. About 200 of the games are cartridges, I'd say of the rest about 70% are retail tapes and remainder from magazines. There's one disk. Yeah, I finally found a Vic20 game that came out on disk (and not random utility software).

Hundreds, maybe. But thousands? I didn't realize the VIC-20 was that popular outside the U.S.
I've got more than 400 vic20 tapes and I'm finding 'new' releases more or less every week.
