In my small humble "in the works" gameroom I thaught up a scheme to get profits toward my evergrowing collection. Small tournaments with games that I own or someone owns. I figure the latest games will be the most feisible. Say I want to use 2 televisions per game. What kind of gadgets do I need to play a multiplayer game on 2 TV's?
Example: NBA Street 2 (PS2)(Multitap capability)

I haven't tried doing this with anything since PS1, so I'll offer my assistance there. This is for head-to-head link cable gaming, not splis-screen gaming.
You need:
-two PlayStations.
-two TV's.
-two copies of the game.
-a PlayStation link cable to connect the two consoles.
The PS1 games that are link-compatible are as follows:
Title Manuf
Andretti Racing (EA Sports)
Armored Core (Sony)
Assault Rigs (Psygnosis)
Bogey: Dead 6 (Sony)
Burning Road (Playmates)
Car and Driver Presents Grand Tour Racing 98 (Activision)
CART World Series (989 Sports)
Command & Conquer: Red Alert (Virgin)
Command & Conquer: Red Alert Retaliation (Virgin)
Cyberspeed (Mindscape)
Descent (Interplay)
Descent Maximum (Interplay)
Destruction Derby (Psygnosis)
Doom (Midway)
Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown (GT Interactive)
Final Doom (Williams)
Formula One (Psygnosis)
Grid Runner (Virgin)
Krazy Ivan (Psygnosis)
Monaco Grand Prix (UBI Soft)
Motor Toon Grand Prix (Sony)
Need for Speed, The (Electronic Arts)
Pro Pinball: Big Race USA (Take2 Interact)
Red Asphalt (Interplay)
Ridge Racer Revolution (Namco)
Ridge Racer Type 4 (Namco)
Warzone 2100 (Eidos)
Wipeout (Psygnosis)
Wipeout 3 (Psygnosis)
Wipeout XL (Psygnosis)

Isn't Quake 2 also link-compatible?
Unfortunately no. The game does a good job with 4-player split-screen though, and it DOES support the mouse, but sadly no network play at all.
