I found an atari jaguar that i could get for $120 which includes 14 games (not CIB). some of the games included are AVP and Iron Soldier.

Anyway, is this a good deal? or should i hold out?

my goal is to get a jag for about as cheap as possible along with some of the best games for the system.

well I know in my area that jag stuff is very hard to come by. Iron Soldier isn't worth too much loose, but if you figure about $40 is normal/slightly high for a Jag system alone. So you'll basically be paying 40 for the system and almost $6 for each game. I'd say it is an alright deal and could be a good start to a jag collection. Considering the scarcity of Jag stuff (at least for me) I'd probably go for the bundle because it would most likely be a long time till I saw another one for sale. Try and get him down to $100 even if you can I'd say.

I just paid 40 bucks plus 10 bucks shipping on eBay for the system by itself. I also saw a jaguar system will all the hookups, 1 controller & 2 games at a local shop for 65 bucks. So I would say if you can get him down to $100 = Deal!

Not a bad deal. I think it's one of those things if you waited around you might have gotten lucky and gotten everything for under $100 but if you wanted a Jag now and wanted to start playing the games it's a good deal.

AVP, Theme Park, Doom, BS Football, Rayman, Iron Soldier, Tempest 2K, Super Burnout and Hover Strike are all solid games so you should get your money's worth.

Nice :)
I love AVP myself, that should keep you busy enough.
Scariest game I've ever played...but then, I hardly play anything, I just love to watch the boxes.
