Our first thought upon seeing this very cool hack was "that's awesome." Our second thought was "do you have to blow on it to make it work?"

BenHeck.com forum (http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?p=295702) member "darkeru" created this inventive new take on a home made NES portable, which manages to squeeze all of the 8-bit dynamo's guts into a 4.1" by 5.5" space ... with a backlit LCD display. We just had a third thought: what happens when you connect it to this portable NES (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/22/entire-nes-squeezed-into-nes-cartridge-case/)?

haha, looks pretty ugly. But nice to see it in action. Looks like the original cart is still in there?

It needs an original style NES cart label to finish it off.

If you connect it to the NES-in-a-cart NES, then you have NESPorn.

Very cool, the select & start buttons are on the sides. I hope that glues residue cleans up more. I want to see what label he puts on.

That looks like it would be very uncomfortable to hold for any length of time. It's cool and all, but I'm thinking it's not very practical.
