PS2 Video on HDTV

My friend has a 26' HDTV the PS2 in Component work nice..but a Game I was playing Fatal Fury Battle Archives 1 & 2 when I selete a game the TV blanked out & said "unsupported mode", it's on 480i but not working..any help on this...

My guess would be that your TV has issues detecting 240p resolution over the component input. Many people have reported not being able to play PS1 games on a PS2 over component with certain HDTV's that have this deficiency, see here (http://www.hdtvarcade.com/hdtvforum/index.php?showtopic=10431&st=0&p=115399&#entry115399). If this is the case there's not much you can do other than try using composite or S-Video or a different TV.
