Weren't all Laguna-labeled games distributed only in Germany? I think there are tons of Germany-only games, even some with English text on the box and booklet.

lots of Amiga/ C-64 German only titles back in the day, and a few A8 as well (Schloss Schreckenstein was it? Can't remember). Gute Zeiten Schlechte Zeiten (based on an awful German soap) even had 3 PSX releases.

See some PSX GZSZ/Moorhuhn pics below

The Autobahn Raser series comes to mind, there were several different localized versions of this game (in the UK it's called London Racer), but I think the German one was the most successful series. Some of the Autobahn Raser games have been released for PS2. But as already mentioned, for computers, there's tons of German exclusive games.

No, I think Les Schtroumpfs/Die Schlümpfe/The Smurfs was released in multiple countries for the NES.

I think Kizuna Encounter for the Neo Geo was originally only distributed in Germany. Pick up a copy today before it gets rare!

Happy Hippo is actually a kind of snack (a chocolate bar).

RPG wise, I can only think of The Dark Eye and Sacred right now which are very popular in Germany, but the games have been released in English as well, so that doesn't count I guess. For some reason, managing and simulation games are very popular here, these are probably the genres for most of the German exclusive games on PC at least. Check out "Toilet Manager Deluxe" for example :P http://www.anvil-soft.com/klomanager/

Starbyte done many German RPGs for Amiga/ST. Gotta search through my Aktueller Software Magazine collection to find out, which I'm not gonna do.

I believe Ambermoon, Thalion's follow up RPG to Ambertstar, was only "Officially" released in Germany for the Amiga.

Banana Prince (NES) exists only in German localization. (And Japan, but...)

Beauty and the Beast (NES) was probably Germany-only as well.

There`s a "Driver's Ed." package for the Atari Lynx that was developed and distributed by a German company - pretty weird concept to teach people how to drive using a Lynx, imho... Believe it or not, the package was called "PITS" or "Portable Informations und Training System" [sic]...

Here's a link to the discussion about it on Atari Age:

Apparently they were just well ahead of their time since at least half a dozen driver traning apps have been released for the DS, including ones for Germany, France, Japan and even Russia.
