Any of you have this game?I just got a demo for it in the mail and it has a seven day free trial.I have never played any of the games before but I guess I will give it a chance.If any of you that have it wanna play just say where and when.I think I won't start till the weekend,or till I get a keyboard for PS2.

I got it free with my ps2 online adapter.. I will never play it.. EQ on the PC is just so much more rich in content then any console MMORPG could ever hope to achieve. Play the PC game if you are even thinking of buying and paying to play the ps2 version.. I first played EQ on a 400mhz TNT1 computer and it played fine then as it does now if you turn off all the graphics.

I beta tested EQOA, and wasn't impressed at all. The graphics are very "ho hum", and the overall experience just didn't rival that of UO.

Then again, it is a free trial...can't hurt to give it a shot, right?

EverQuest topics are the bane of my existance... although I've been tempted to go back to the game for some crazy reason, only if I could get my account back though.

I still have my EQ account and play for around 8 hours a week.. With the Planes of Power expantion they dumped all hell levels so getting all those low level bards, monks and mages I never played over 30 to level 65 is a snap now. That was the main thing that killed EQ for me was hitting 51 and just barely watching your exp go up after 10 hours playing.

also you can turn off your EQ account for 6 months and not have to pay the $12.00 without loosing your characters. So if you tire of EQ you can turn off billing, come back in 6 months with $72 in your pocket and jump right back in if you want.

I got the demo too, I was thinking of seeing how it was, though I doubt I'd play it hard core.

Yea I am gonna start up the demo soon,but I wanna get a keyboard first,so I can type in SOCOM and in this.And anyways,Unreal online keeps me plenty busy.
