I have a purple gamecube in the box. I have all the original paperwork and inserts but not the cardboard inside the box that held the system. So system is loose in the box. It has the Zelda Collectors Edition sticker on it.
I have a SEALED Zelda Collectors Edition game, a CIB Wind Waker (not players choice), and a CIB Resident Evil Zero.

A sealed Zelda CE has been going for around $60 or more. The cube I assume is worth around $30, RE0 about $20.

Do you guys think if I ebayed this I'd get over $100 for this as a lot? Would it be more with my while to ebay the Zelda CE and craigslist the cube?

You almost never get more for things as a lot than individually. That applies in this case like any other. I kind of doubt you would clear 100 with this stuff altogether, but maybe.

Gamecubes do not sell well on CL at all. Around here at least. I've had a system w/ controller, memory card, Metroid Prime, Viewtiful Joe, and a Baseball game listed for 30 up for a long time and no takers. It is hardly worth selling for less than that, though. I didn't think that seemed too high, but I guess so. Being boxed helps yours a bit... people seem to like that, but it doesn't help that much, either.

gamecubes are only 29.99 at gamestop, and no one buys them

the gamecube controllers are worth as much as the system, especially the wavebirds are worth even more.

$100 is about right on as the value of your lot.

I forgot I have a CIB Mario Kart DD to go with it as well.

Would that help?

I'm not quite sure if you'll get that. Sell the sealed Zelda CD separately. It's a shame that the Gamecube is so underappreciated. There are a lot of good games for the system. I think the transition into Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii is starting to move along quicker. Everyone is starting to sell their last gen models.

that would firmly lock in the price of 100 with the mario dd i would say.

Yes you should sell the sealed zelda separately.

Your entire lot is definitely worth atleast $100 but not everyone would pay you that much for it. As for Gamecubes, keep in mind that you can go into Target and get a brand new one for $24.99 or Sears and get a Metroid Prime Bundle version for $29.99. Because of that, the value of a used Gamecube(regardless of if you have the box or not)is placed somewhere between $10-20, though you'd be hard pressed to sell one at $20.

As for your games, you have some good ones in there, but all are pretty common. If I were you, I'd sell the Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition by itself and throw everything else in a lot. Because all of the other items are so common, they either won't sell by themselves or will sell for $10 or less each.

Thanks team,

I think I'll pop that Zelda on Ebay by itself and try to dump the cube stuff at a yard sale we got coming up.

Actually the Gamecube's just starting to get the appreciation it deserves. System limped along last gen collecting a ton of really great games that many people didn't bother seeking out until buying a backwards compatible Wii. System prices have plumet, while prices of games and controllers have risen.

For some weird ass reason, the price of Gamecube Wavebird and Xbox Controller "S" controllers has taken off over the last year or so. Neither is suppose to be manufactured anymore, although I've seen a few Gamestops that had hang tags for new Wavebirds.
