NEOGEO AES Controller hack mod?!?!

Hello all. I am wondering, as Im needing a 2nd AES controller, if I can just hack a regular controller to the DB15 connector via the pin map out on GameSX

I tried doing some of it but what happened was the DB15 connector was way not deep enough to reach the pins in the AES and so I started hacking away around it and now I dont know if its making contact or if the buttons are just not working cause of the common (ground) should be the 5v+ connection instead. I would hate to fry my expensive system. Any feedback would be greatful

I have a neo geo to PSX controller adapter if you areinterested?

Sounds the opposite way though. I have an AES and tired of playing only with one person. If its a PSX to AES converter how much for it? Thanks for the quick response.

EDITED: I read it wrong and I would be interested if I cant get this set up working. I love to create stuff for games and Im sure it can be done but thanks for the offer and please PM me with how much your looking for, for it.
