Anyone here remember playing this on their C=64, Apple II or on DOS? I had it for the C=64, never knew it was available for DOS until I found the wiki article.

Over the years I amassed hundreds of Commodore 64 disks. Below the Root was Disk #13. I was pretty young when I started playing it and I'm not sure I ever "got anywhere" in the game. Still, it was fun just to walk around talking to people, exploring the tops of trees and trying not to get kidnapped.

I remember trying to play this game many times but I never got anywhere in it. I remember flying down from upper levels and on to the thorns below.

I played it quite a bit back in the day (also on C64). Well, maybe "played it" isn't the right word. "waited for the disk to load" is what I meant. I definitely did that more than actually play. This was one of the SLOWEST loading games ever. By the time Epyx' Fast Load cartridge came out I had lost interest.
