Question on the sega cdx

I dont know if this goes here or not but does the sega cdx play backup games without modifications?

I'd assume so. If I had any backup games I'd try it for you, but I don't.

I'm assuming that SEGA didn't add any copy protection to the SEGA CDX since it probably wasn't expected at that time.

does the CD drive work on it? i've had two CDX's and both of them had CD drives that went south.

Hell, I'd say Snatcher, Lunar, Lunar:EB, Keio Flying Squadron, Final Fight CD, etc. etc......BUT we are talking if the CDX plays backups...and thats a lot of piracy then! LOL ;)

We can't talk Sega CD and forget to mention the JVC X'Eye. It also plays burned CDs no problem.

Yeah,if I want every sega cd game ever made I can get it.I cant help it,I am a vip member of underground gamer.I only want games i will actually play though.Is there anyway to test if the cd drive is going south fishsandwich?{wow,I am actually thinking about eating now,lol?}
