My thanks to everyone for supporting the poll! I hate to get all serious on you but in the interest of preventing cheating...I have a few simple rules to help prevent multiple voting sessions. Nothing will help more than simple honesty, though.


1. No sharing the poll link. Please wait for me (DeputyMoniker) to send it to you personally.

2. You must have a DP.com join date no later than May of this year.

3. You have the opportunity to cast 1-10 votes on the same ballot. So choose your top 10 games from the list...all before you hit the "submit vote" button.

Dude, just wanted to list my picks so they don't fall into total anonymity. I'd suggest everyone else do the same so we have something tangible to talk about!

Ranking them by number is important too, since the way this poll is designed, my favorite game and my tenth favorite hold the same weight, and, well, NiGHTS is a lot better than Saturn Bomberman. :D

I included only system exclusives in my vote.

I feel that a "Top Games" list for a system should only be made of games that you couldn't play anywhere else at the time (save for arcade ports). The list should promote the systems unique titles. If a systems "Must Have" games were all on other systems of the time as well, then I feel it defeats the entire purpose of doing a "System top games list". Why not make a "Top 20 games of the era" instead? Just a bit of info on why I chose the games I chose.

I don't agree with that. Consider Tomb Raider. Does it not belong on the PS1 top 20 list? Sometimes a game is just better on a specific system.
