Thats awesome!!! I haven't seen that movie in years.

I watched it many times as a kid, but oddly I dont remember much about it except that some top secret file or something was hidden in an Atari cart.

I've only seen this movie once, but I still remember it.

Was Cloak and Dagger ever a real game?

Yup, and it's awesome.

I think there was a 2600 port as well. It really is the game they used in the movie, too. (at least I think. I specifically remember the elevator scenes being in the movie. I think the level-skip trick they talk about in the movie really works, as well (push both joysticks down while in the elevator...or up I can't remember...a little word cloud comes out of his mouth that says 'express').

Here's a picture of the one at Funspot. It's the white cabinet on the right.

It was an arcade game, but unlike what the movie would lead one to believe ... it was never completed or released on the Atari 5200! (Or any home console.)

Probably due to the double joysticks. I should put some time into that this weekend.

It is an interesting story however...

That's a pretty neat little bit of history there.

Thanks for the link!
