My laptop battery ran out last night and I needed something fun to do- games of course :) Since I wanted to play upstairs without a lot of hassle my options were PS and SNES. I couldn't find a cord for the PS so I dug around SNES gamses and pulled Harvest Moon, Secret of Mana and EVO to try. I hadn't played any of these when I was younger. I tried playing Harvest Moon but after talking to a lot of townspeople the power cord came away from the outlet and I didn't want to restart it (why do they make that block so heavy anyway, I had to prop it up with a Care Bear) so I put in EVO.

This game is really fun! I wish that my evolutions carried on a little more but it's very interesting and different. I thought Cubivore was a pioneer in its field, but EVO did if first. Anyone else played this?

yeah imho evo is one of the top 25 snes games :) i dont own the original, its so fucking rare here in europe, no pal release, you just can't get it under 30€ :(

E.V.O. is a great game. I remember reading about it in a NP all those years ago, and just had to have it. I wish I owned it right now...

EVO really is an innovative game with a great premise too. it starts out slowly then really picks up at chapter 3 where you can pretty much design your own dinosaurs!

I have it as well, and played plenty of it. It can be very addictive!

Anyone here ever beat it? I could never get past the Yeti in Chapter 5...

I beat it many years ago when it was out originally. Another game I use to play lots of about the same time was SIM Earth, I don't think I actually beat that one but was well into it.
