After reading an excellent article by Tim(powerjaw@crosswinds.net) where he modifys a Samtron CGA monitor to run analog input, I'm wondering if anyone has done this to a 5153 ? Tim clipped pins on the 74LS38N and ran the RGB direct to the board traces to bypass the digital conversion, however the 5153 has no such chip, and nothing that seems to be equivilant.
Can this conversion be done to my IBM 5153 as simply as the Samtron ? My E-mail bounces when I tried to contact Tim.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
