I am trying to get my atari 2600 hooked up to my home theater room. I have a projector and a direct tv hd receiver and a stereo. I cant find or figure out how to hook this up to it. Anyone know where to get a cable or can make me one ASAP to get this working? Thanks

AND I dont think it will work through the coax on the direct tv box, already tried that.

you can utilize something like that to go from RF -> composite...

So that would work you think? I would MUCH prefer something cheaper than 48+ shipped to me though. But that is possible.

Just buy a cheap $10 VCR from Goodwill. Hook the Atari up to the antenna in with an adapter and then run the RCA from the Vcr to the Projectors yellow rca input.

DUHHH! Why am I so stupid. I have used a vcr to hook up all kinds of crap, but it has been a while. I have moved on to nicer things. Thanks for reminding me, it worked great! All done!

Now I can play H.E.R.O. on a 109 inch screen!!
