Damn frustrating problem here. I've had a XBox 360 for over a year. I bought a wireless device (the official Microsoft one) to allow me to connect to XBox Live through wireless. My computer has a wireless router that sends out a signal across the apartment and the XBox picks it up. Never had a problem gaming online.

Recently, a new roommate moved in and they also have a XBox 360 and the same wireless device from Microsoft. I got her connected to my wireless network just fine. It's password protected, we have our XBox's auto assign a address, and they both have a different IP.

When both of us are online at the same time, though, both of are constantly getting dropped from XBox Live. That is, we'd be suddenly signed out (not at the same time, and not always at once) and then sign right back in again a moment later. But the damage is done -- whatever game I or her was playing we've been dropped from. If just one of us is online the connection is fine.

Does anyone else have more then one XBox 360 on the same wireless network and had this problem? Or ideas or solutions to fix it?

I'd try changing the channel on your wireless router. It's probably on 6, try changing it to 11 or 1.

Actually, it's on 1. Should I change it? My normal PC gaming is fine, and so is one XBox if one of us is just online.
