DC hardware expert here?

I am trying to get or build a twin stick for use with Virtual On game. The problem is the actual Sega Twin Stick usually sells for around $100 on eBay, and many 3rd party controllers that looks like twin sticks are really arcade sticks for 2 players.

So does anyone here have a schematic or a how to guide for the Twin Sticks? I want to play Virtual On the way it was made in arcade machine.

I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I know it is possible to purchase the Saturn twin sticks and then pick up an adaptor that lets you use saturn peripherals with the DC.
