I came across an old MLF proto with the EA sticker on the cart. I'd apparently added some more labels when I was a kid too, but those can come off. I remember it being really buggy and early. (and lots of people exploding ;))

What's the going rate for genesis protos?

I sold off a ton of Nintendo/gameboy protos and an NWC awhile back, and figure I'll get rid of this one too.

Pics if I remember what box it's in - selling the condo atm so things are scattered ;)

Genesis Protos go from $45-85 usually, though this might be more like $100

Even though I don't know much about protos in general, I can see fans of the game paying more than $100 for it. But that's just me...

what are the differences between the retail and the proto?

I'd have to hook up the Genesis to find out. I'll look at it after the move - things are all packed up right now.
