View Full Version : What's your favorite RPG mascot?

I was going to make this thread a poll, but there's no way that I could be thorough enough with the possible answers off the top of my head. The question is, what's your favorite RPG mascot? I'm talking about the things in RPGs that are created for the world of the game, and often lend themselves to becoming stuffed animals and stuff.
My three favorites are Prinnies from the Disgaea series, Moogles from the Final Fantasy series, and Mr. Saturn from Earthbound/Mother. Of these three, Mr. Saturn is by far my favorite.

It's such a close race for me, almost a tie: Cactuar and Tonberry. I also like Rag Rappy (et all), from Phantasy Star Online. If you twisted my arm I'd pick Cactuar.

Well not my favorite but for the masses out there what about Chocobo?
Mine is meredy's little friend Qwickie (spellcheck), from Tales of Destiny 2

Moogles for me. I also really like the Blue Slime from Dragon Warrior/Quest.

Moogles were the first mascot that popped into my head, so I'll go with them.

Moogles from Final Fantasy and Jack Frost from Persona and other Atlus RPGs.
Slimes from Dragon Quest and Chocobos from Final Fantasy.

I have a soft spot for the Blue Slime and Jack Frost, but the Star Ocean Bunny takes the cake.

Heh, I was thinking of mentioning Jogurt. :) I couldn't decide if he counted as a mascot, though. :P

Well Sega did use him to advertise Shining Soul, and they made a Plushie. He's the only mascot Shining Force really has. I'd say he counts, even if he's not in every Shining game.

Gotta love Moogles.
I also love Cloud as the posterboy of Final Fantasy VII, if that counts. :)

I'm also going to go with Jack Frost for Atlus as my favorite as well. Along with the slime from Dragon Warrior/quest.

Ya gotta love the Rappys from Phantasy Star IV.
The battle with the King Rappy was funny and I loved Rappys from then on!

Jack Frost and Prinnies. Doesn't hurt that they represent some of the best rpg franchises.
