Hello all, I came across this video on youtube and it featured something I never saw before:

Yes it does review a game at the end but I was curious if anyone came across something like this?

I've built a couple of consolized units in the past; an MV-1C (single slot) and an MV-2 (two slot). You're basically building the contents of a Supergun/JAMMA test rig into the MVS casing: PSU connector, RGB video out (plus video converter if you live in the USA) and joystick sockets if required.
However, what I would call consolized and what others seem to call consolized are two very different things: it's down to aesthetics.

I recommend checking out neogeo.com to see more of these, they pop up for sale to and some people will build them for you to. IN fact neotropolis seems to do some nice work

I don't want to come off as a jerk, but it is neo-geo.com (not neogeo.com) and on the forums there is much talk about the consolized MVS and there are always some up for sale from various forum members.

Neotropolis sells their superguns for around 3x what others would charge. I would avoid them.

You might be able to plug Neotropolis' MVS boards into your TV, but I'd hardly call them consolized. Like I said before, it's all down to aesthetics. I built custom housings for my systems so they didn't look like ugly arcade boards with wires soldered on.

They're very common among Neo Geo fans, and they're so simple to make that I would recommend building one yourself over paying someone else. My boyfriend didn't really know squat about what he was doing, but he winged it and put one together. I recommend using a 2-slot because it's not as expensive as the larger models and already looks roughly like a home system with its metal casing and vertical slots, unlike the 1-slot.
