NEED Game Genie code for PAL "Daze before Christmas"

I am trying to get the PAL game "Daze before Christmas" to work on my US Genesis machine via a game genie which I have been told will allow you to make it work. I need the code or codes that will make it work. All I get so far is a black screen with "Developed for use only with PAL and French SECAM mega drive systems". If anyone konws what I need to do in exacting detail I would really appreciate the help. Thanks... Platformgirl

Ok, before you do anything else, make sure the switch on the Game Genie is up before you put the cartridge on it and turn on the console, otherwise the cartridge will just pass right through the Game Genie.

Well I don't get the balck screen till after the genie system comes up. I entered a cheat code just to get past that section... then the PAL only message comes up (sorry, I should have said that earlier). Is there a game genie code for PAL games?

The switch is and was up... still can't get it to work... only shows that message.
