It's a good idea. Though nothing compared to the Loss Prevention department for the stores my company has. The LP guys I think have way too much time on their hands. The remote PC interface is very handy, makes my job much easier, when I have to connect and fix what the store people have broken. Also makes rebooting a server at 3 AM a lot easier that I can do it from home.

Nicely secured, Joe.

My type of security? A shotgun placed at strategic points and a warning placed on several parts of the store that says:

"ROB AND YOU WILL DIE"

When it comes down to loss prevention and monitoring assets, you simply cannot go too far. That's a very good idea in which you can monitor transactions at the counter from home. You have a pretty solid crew that work there when you're not around, but that should never stop someone from upgrading security and peace of mind.

All you need now is that security shutdown system that they had in the film "Snatch" and you're good to go. :)

Well, that and Room 101. (See signature for meaning)

You don't by any chance work for a certain cellular telcom company also, do you? :)
