So, I picked this up at at a pawn shop for $1, mainly because it's factory sealed. Never seen it before, but it's probably not worth more than the $1 I paid for it because it's a kids game.

But it never hurts to ask, so here's pics.

*whacks you*

We don't appreciate hotlinkers over at MobyGames. :P

That said, I hadn't seen this game before today. If this was the first of a series, I wonder if more were made.

id say its probably not worth the dollar you paid for it or the space itll take up in your house.

there are literally hundreds of thousands of games made for the pc... why would you go for a kids one from windows 95 days...

Occasionally one does come across a nifty, forgotten piece of gaming history. And some of the old, hyper-obscure point-and-click adventures are worth a lot of money to some people. This isn't one of the ones I've heard about, though.

Yeah, it apparently was apart of a series.

crack it open, rip an image, and let's get playing it as a group. Breathe some life into this sucker and really find out what it's all about. Get some real discussion going about it. Good luck finding anyone else that's got a copy or has played it.

Looks like both demos for it aren't available on the publisher's homepage anymore, either. Bummer.

Well, it says it's an interactive book with four mini-games on it.

Yeah, I probably should open it. It doesn't seem to be worth much, and no one knows what it is so I might as well find out what it is. It is, after all, an interactive novel.

Just so you guys know, it was actually made by US Gold. You know, the people that made then computer ports of Capcom fighting franchises like Street Fighter and Final Fight.

Fire up Fraps and snap loads of screenshots for Mobygames and GiantBomb while you're at it. Documenting stuff like that is can be pretty fun.

Ok, it's open.

I'll take a few screenshots in Fraps.

It was published by US Gold. If Mobygames is to be believed, it was developed by these EuroPress Software people, whoever they are.

Also, those Capcom ports aren't particularly known for their quality, as I recall.

EuroPress software is mentioned in the back of the box (look at the scan in MobyGames). They no longer exist, and were absorbed into another company in 2002. Their old website address (http://www.europress.co.uk/) now points to another company called SoftUnity.

One interesting thing to mention is that on the box, the title uses the British spelling centre instead of the American spelling of the word, but the disc itself uses the American spelling of center.

It's nothing, but it was funny when I noticed it. The box was probably made in Europe and the disc made in America.

The "Centre" spelling was the only reason I found this game.
