gamerthegreek A.K.A. atari70s: Was I Ripped Off or Not. You decide!

Long story made short. Back in June, he agreed to buy a Cyplix Conversion cart from me. He said he was going to send a money order as he doesn't use paypal. I took his word for it as he seemed to be an active member of these forums. I sent the cart; He didn't send the money order. Good-Bye $92.

It is already August, so how could the money order not be here yet? People say he rips people off. Does he?

He oddly dissappeard from these forums. He never replied to my pms about the money order he supposidly sent. He just dissappeared off the face of the virtual planet.

I did a post on Atari Age, and found out his username there is "atari70s". No one had good things to say about him there. Anyways here is the ongoing post. Feel free to add to this post on Digital Press or the Atari Age post below.

He conatcted me to do a trade for a cart(cyplix conversion) he orginally got off of me but didn't pay for. I can't believe the nerve of this guy.

I am giving his a chance to make good on the deal and just send the cart back to me. Will he? Who knows?

Jason Philis contacted me the other day and promised and kept his promise and has actually paypalled me for the amount he owed me. He said he was young and made some mistakes and has been working on making things right with those he does owe money/items to. He mentioned that if he owes you, you can email him at: Braves1545ATaol.com and he would remedy the debt.

Jason seems to have grown up and wants to make any bad deals right. I am glad he is working on clearing up past debt and has grown up enough to admit his past failings and to actually do something about it.

It is an old thread, but I think when someone makes good on a past bad deed, I think it is relevant and worth mentioning, especially when it is the buying and selling of video games and this board is for that purpose.

There may be other members of this board whom Jason hasn't contacted yet who are owed money or games. I think they would appreciate this thread. I am sorry you don't understand that.

I first bumped an old thrad with new info, then decided to make a new thread. I just want people to know he did in fact pay me what he owes me, has grown up and is taking responsibility for his bad deals in the past, and to allow people to be able to contact him(as was his request) so he can pay back any money he owes.

I suppose I don't want people finding an old thread that is not updated and thinking he still hasn't made good.

Thanks for the update. After tracing back countless threads trying to figure out what this is all about, I think I can safely say that there aren't a lot of people who care but those who do will be happy to discover that it's all ended amiably and locked promptly.
