Alright, I'm trying to put together a list of the limited edition / promo consoles that were released. Mainly, the ones that were prizes as opposed to actual produced LE hardware.

So far I have the following:

300 (20) - To promote the movie ten were given away at the 2007 SD Comic Con and ten others were given away by various websites such as Engadget.

Batman: The Dark Knight "Joker Edition" (55) - Domino's "The Cards Will Tell" Contest

DC Comics (5) - Given away at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con. There was a draw for one each day at the Warner Brothers or XBOX Booth.

Gears Of War (5) - Given away at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con. There was a draw for one each day at the Warner Brothers or XBOX Booth.

GTA IV (500) - Elite system with the GTA IV boxart branded on the side with high quality automotive paint and a serial number. Kit also included a briefcase with a bunch of 360 peripherals. Seem these mostly went to media outlets (sites, mags, etc).

Indiana Jones "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" (5) - XBOX.com Contest

Ninja Gaiden (5) - Given out in contest used to promote the game through Gamestop.

Simpsons The Move "Homer Edition" (100 According to Official press Release) - These were available to be won through tons of contests. MS gave away one through an email contest, five were given away in another contest that required you to play the game Cloning Clyde, Canada.com gave away seven, ten went through the official contest on the Simpson's site, one from the website/company Jetblue, one through a MySpace contest and several through a promotion with 7-11.

Terminator Salvation (11) - Given away at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con. There was a draw for one each day at the Warner Brothers or XBOX Booth and another six were given away at a discussion panel.

Watchmen (10) - Given away at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con. There was a draw for one each day at the Warner Brothers or XBOX Booth and another five were given away at a discussion panel.

Now, alot of that info is either second/thrid hand or pulled off of random websites. If you know of any more, have any extra info,or think anything I have there is wrong, please post and let me know.

Interesting. I've always wondered about the various 360 US variants. But what would make your list even better is if you quoted the street value of each one. I know it's a work in progress but I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know how much those bad boys are worth.

Most of the ones I've seen sold have gone for around $1000. That includes both the more "common" ones and the really limited ones as well. I have prices saved for most of the auctions I've seen as well as pics. I'll update this thread as well as link to an article I'm working on when I have more data.

Launch Team, Simpsons, and the Halo LE's are the only official systems i'm aware of. The others are just repaints.

I saw one of them on ebay several months back. It was up to $600 before ebay removed the listing for some mysterious reason:confused:

Saints Row and Blue Dragon have bundles in other countries, Blue Dragon comes with a faceplate at least for sure.

Thanks for putting this list together. I just won one of the Batman systems (didn't expect to win with a placeholder bid), guess I'll have to pick up Joker now too. ;)
