Gitaroo Man: Have YOU beat Master Mode?

I haven't, I can only get up to Mojo King Bee. My little brother on the other hand, has gotten up to Stage 9 (He would be on Stage 9, but a scratch in the disk prevents us from playing 9 or 10)!

We are still in shock he beat the Sambone Trio, no doubt the hardest Master Mode level. It took 400+ tries...

So, any Gitaroo Man masters out there?

Heh. I think "Have you beaten the first level in Master's Play?" would have been a better question. ^^

sob..i have the same problem..honestly, though, when i first got the game, i couldn't even beat it on regular mode (i was stuck on the hammerhead shark). i put the game away, and about..6 months later i pulled it out again, and beat it :)

I'm hoping that the same will hold true for the master level..

I breezed through normal mode and I still play through it when I need to unwind, but Master Mode is nuts. I can't get past Big O. I've come close, but those really fast riffs that curve upwards and do one of those circle back things really screw me up. I like Master mode alot since you basically have to play every beat, but I wish I could hack it so that missing notes didn't do so much damage. The game would be much better that way.

In normal mode I've gotten A's on everything but the last stage. Has anybody gotten an S before? I've tried but I never can get all perfects.

I just checked my brother's file, and he has an S rank on the following levels:

Normal: 1-6
Master: 1,4, and 6

I have yet to get an S. I have only gotten an A on level 1 on Normal and Master.
