I remember playing some sonic game on the snes or nes at a friends when I was a kid but I don't know the name or on what system. All I can remember is there is some kind of slot machine. Can anyone help me identify this game?

When you say 'sonic' do you mean sonic the hedgehog or do you mean a game with the name sonic in it?

Then you sure didn't play it on NES or SNES. You're thinking of Genesis, and like it was already said, you're probably thinking of either Sonic 2 or Sonic Spinball.

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnot quite. There's actually a pirate version of Speedy Gonzales on the SNES with Sonic hacked in. I'm not sure if it's a romhack, or if it's a dump from a pirate cart, but the ROM is floating around on the interwebs,
