Lara Croft is now being played by 23-year-old Alison Carroll. Apparently she's a professional gymnast from London.

I just want to know how long you've been sitting on that pic, waiting for an opportunity to use it. :)
I never cared much who they use as a Croft model. They're all good enough looking women, but in the end it doesn't really matter much. What Lara looks like is well established, I don't understand why they even need to have these women.

One thing I really like about this new girl is that she's actually an athlete. Watch the video. She's got the moves necessary to be a true Lara.

Actually, I haven't had it that long - but once I saw the first post, the idea quickly came to mind. I went and looked up the commercial on YouTube, took a screenshot, and then made my reply.

Yeah exactly, are you friggin kidding me? She looks like a WOMAN with curves that distingish her from a male, perhaps you go for the females with the bodies of a 12 year old boy (IE: Skinny and flat as a board) really there is no fat on her, it's comments like that to woman her are completely normal that ends up turning woman into over self conscious, self loathing woman with eating dis-orders...............

Uhm, yeah she isn't a movie star, since the begining of Tomb Raider popularity various woman have been chosen to represent the character of Lara for trade shows, publicity tours etc. They have nothing to do with the movies and nothing to do with replacing Angelina Jolie, I too am a great fan of Angelina but I would not brand this woman (she's a gymnist BTW) a slut any more or less than Angelina because there is no reason to make assumptions in either case., look around the net you will easily find just as slutty pictures or worse from Angelina so why must you brand Alison as such? Do you know something we don't?

She appeared at the Arcadia Festival in 2005 and 2006 and at the first Otakuthon festival in Montreal in 2006. She's pretty cool -- we talked when I saw her again at the Otakuthon. And no, she's not a cosplayer but an official Lara for the Montreal market (local girl too).
Are these pictures for the old fans of alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.cheerleaders? Every other picture is the lame "look at my crotch while I kick".
Also, her knees are too bony.

This post made me laugh, and reminded me of something. One time I was at a shopping center, and I saw this big fat guy get out of a car with a bumper sticker that said "No fat chicks".
I've never engaged in vandalism before, but I eagerly keyed that car.
