Metal Gear Solid for GBC sealed

I aquired one of these in a trade just curious what the value could be. I can see complete copies on eBay going for 50.

as a metal gear solid collector, I saw them go up to as much as $80.00+. Also depends on which version you have NTSC or Import. Even the ones that are open & the ones with just the game go as high as $30.00+. I am sure the import would be higher on price.
Thats a great item to keep. Then Again if you want to sell it, thats up to you.

the one where i said went for $80.00 was Perfect MINT Sealed.

Nothing against eskobar, but you might want to get a second opinion before opening it. There are always exceptions to the rule.

While most GBA are sealed that way, there are a few that are not.

there is a factory sealed on ebay, check the second picture and you can appreciate the horizontal line in the side of the box

Mine does have that line going down the sides of the box but not across the back.

Do you in fact have a sealed copy of this game? If you could provide a pic I think this would help.

My sealed copy of Zelda DX has the original seal with the seam in the back.
Your copy of MGS definately looks like a reseal, so I do not see any harm in opening it. ;)

I think it's a bootleg the label on the cart looks like the one on the box not like the other i found on eBay.

Checking the larger picture i could read some inconsistencies like the game was published by THQ ... and the Croc 2 trademark, the Natsume brand ... it is indeed a bootleg :S

i uploaded pictures of my game that unfortunately i opened it and sold my last sealed copy a few months ago

Thanks eskobar. I definitely had a bootleg on my hands. I just returned it to the game store I got it from with no problems. Eh, thought I had a pretty decent find.

I was only referring to Game Boy Advance games. I don't know of any Game Boy Color games that were sealed differently either. I only mentioned it since you were using GBA games as an example.
