There's a Salvation Army near where I live where I found a few older games. I plan to sell them online since they're so cheap over there, but I'm wondering, what's the typical value of the following games?
NES: (no boxes or instruction booklets)
Mega Man 2
Maniac Mansion
Gauntlet 2
Ice Hockey
World Class Track Meet
Wrath of the Black Manta
Double Dribble
They're all $1-3 each. Simant, I didn't check the price on, but it was an original 1991 copy, DOS version on a floppy, with the box in pretty much mint condition and everything in it. There were also a few Concept 4 Racing Wheels for the N64, but I didn't check the prices on them either.
So what would be the proper value for all of these?

SimAnt is a pretty common game, and it's been reissued loads of time.
Maniac Mansion and Mega Man 2 are worth a bit on eBay, though.

I know, but it's a copy of the very first edition with all of the box contents. Sure that's not really worth anything?

Mega Man 2 is $10 on a good day, $5 on a bad. Maniac Mansion is pretty steady at around $10. The rest are super common. If you don't have much of a rep on ebay you're probably looking at more trouble then it would be worth to you.
Also, if you search "SimAnt" on ebay the top listing (right now anyway) is a CIB copy for $3 that has zero bids. Pretty worthless it looks like.

Well, I've honestly only started using ebay recently, so where would you suggest I'd sell any of these?

I noticed that SNES copies of Simant tend to go for alot- is there anything special about that edition?

I would suggest not buying them actually. If you really wanted to try it, buy Maniac Mansion and put it up here for $6. You should get a buyer. You won't make much (if any) money, but sometimes just the experience can be fun.

Computer games in general don't go for much money. A select few bring large amounts, but they are mostly cult stuff. SimAnt is part of a popular franchise and thus had a high print run. That equals a low value. The SNES version isn't nearly as common and is more of a niche game since it wasn't really made for the console. It doesn't go for that much though, only around $10 or so.

I tried to sell a copy of the very first edition for three years.
I ended up giving it away on GameTZ. :P

Wow. This is pretty dissapointing, but thanks alot for the pointers.
Anything about those Concept 4 wheels though?
BTW, you've all been mainly talking about ebay- are there any other auctioning sites, ones mainly involving games I could go for too? You don't really need to direct me to any, I'm just wondering about their values elsewhere.

Chase the Chuckwagon and Game Gavel are both auction sites that are primarily (maybe even exclusively) for games, but ebay commands the highest prices. There is also the buying/selling forum here, but again, ebay commands the highest prices.
The only completed listings for the Concept wheel didn't sell, so it's hard to say what they could go for. Something that bulky would be a pain to ship though, so I would stay away.
PC games, unless very rare and sought after (Daggerspire, Grim Fandango, System Shock 2) sell for almost nothing. Even the rares sell for well below $100. Floppy disk games aren't even worth the floppies they are on, first edition or no. I'd give it a pass.

Lots and lots and LOTS of variants. And if the games are complete and in good shape, they'll fetch lots of money.
Reprints and compilations often left out important stuff, like hint books or 3D glasses or scratch and sniff sheets (bless you, Al Lowe). The price has gone down over the past two years, but some games still sell for a pretty penny. I make a living out of this. ;p

Again, thanks for all the pointers, but just one last question- how common would some of you say is the Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack, or the expansion pack alone (Alien Crossfire) at things like thrift stores? That game typically goes for $120 or more online, and thankfully, I actually do have a copy of the game, from when my dad bought it ages ago a couple of years after it came out, but no box. That's the only incredibly expensive PC game I've come across online.

I've only stumbled upon it twice in two years: Once in a two game set with Alpha Centauri, and the other was in a five game set released by Electronic Arts a couple of years ago. In my experience that's pretty rare, but I live in Southern California / Northern Mexico. It might be more common in other parts of the country.

And how much were those copies, and where did you see them exactly? Did you have any idea as to how much those were worth? You seriously missed out on all that.

...
I sold 'em for $75 a pop. I already told you, I sell crap like this for a living. :P
The former cost me $10, the latter $8 - both were found at the same booth. The seller had no idea what he had in his hands.

Ah, good to hear, and sorry I didn't catch you mentioning how you make a living off this.
I don't have anything else to ask here- again, thanks for all your help.

Not many people are thrilled to give out the locations where they go hunting.
