Let me explain. As some of you may have seen in the buying and selling forum, I am after a mini-collection of Sega 360 games. This is where it gets tricky. I read up about Wartech (which I own) and it is a Sega game that was brought to the states by another company.

Uh, so, what other Sega games came out in Japan but were brought over under a different company in the states for X-Box 360?

"WarTech" (aka Senko no Ronde) is NOT made by Sega. It was developed by G.rev and released/published in Japanese arcades (and home consoles) by Sega.

I think the answer might be none. I think there is a DS game or two where Sega developed and ended up not being the US publisher (Touch Darts which Agetec is going to release or has released is one), but I'm not aware of any examples on the Wii, PS3 or 360 where that was the case.

It's not a modern game like you wanted, but I just wanted to mention Panic! for the Sega CD. Originally developed by Sega, it was brought over the US and published by Data East (probably because Sega thought that the game was too strange for Western audiences).

Thank you on the correction on Wartech, I did not know that.

Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram (DC) would be the most recent example I can think of. I highly doubt there are any examples on 360, as any game produced for the 360 by Sega is likely done with Western markets in mind. I believe a few 360/PS3 games are PS3 only in Japan. The Japanese 360 market is just really small, and so it's not worth it for them to publish a game in Japan only and give it to someone else in the rest of the world.
