Getting down to the nitty gritty of the PSX demo collecting...anyoen ever see any of these in person? These are *known* to exist:

http://www.game-rave.com/demos.gif

Besides these, the following need confirmation, as they are all unknown:

Crash Bash (Individual Demo in single sleeve)
Eidos Demo 2
Gran Turismo 2 (Individual Demo in single sleeve)
Rogue Trip (Retail, not Trade Demo)
Spyro: Year of Dragon (confirmed, looking for a Toys R Us Test Drive Sleeve)

This is more research than buying / selling, but if they exist, I need them, so if you have them / spot them, I am buying. : )

I'm almost 95% sure that I have one of those Parrappa demos. I'll have to check when I get home.

I didn't know people were big into collecting demo discs.

What else are you going to collect once you have the complete library and all the variants?

Receipts. It's just not a complete collection without original MSRB receipts for every game in the library.

I gotta dig through the ol' box o' demos, I might have that Gamebreaker demo. I don't even remember what I have anymore. All my demos just sit in a box.

Have you guys met Dangerboy? He's already got all that stuff and more. Dangerboy has a complete PSX collection of cord length variants, a collection of CD thickness variants, and all the different black variants (the bottom of some PSX CDs are blacker than others).

You know...I was going to ha-ha that last comment until I started thinking about it...

...a complete PSX collection of cord length variants
I have both Blue Debug systems, which each came with different AC / DC adapters...which had different lengths...

...a collection of CD thickness variants
Add 'cases' and you have the double jewel case / regular case variants...

...and all the different black variants
Which is true...I have a blue bottom PSX Triple Play, and I need to get a regular black bottom one...

...

I am SUCH A DORK.

Now that's funny!
I hate it when I get a receipt where the ink is almost out. I have to go rebuy it in order to get a minty receipt. I usually just toss the extra game and keep the receipt.
I keep all my receipts in baseball card protectors. They look so nice displayed like that. I was wondering about starting a company that "grades" receipts. I am sure there is a lot of interest in this sorta thing?

Spyro 3: Year of Dragon (confirmed, looking for a Toys R Us Test Drive Sleeve)

Do you mean just the disc is confirmed or is the sleeve also confirmed?
There is only 1 version of Spyro 3: Year of Dragon demo, right?

From looking at the disc picture, it is a tad blurry, isn't the name of the demo Spyro - Year of the Dragon, based on the wording on the demo? By re-naming it to its proper name, it might possibly be miss-judged by people who look through there demos, looking for a Spyro 3 demo. Just a thought, perhaps the sleeve says Spyro 3 on it, i guess.

Two different demos :)

The pictured one is the Spyro (2): Ripto's Rage.

The text is referring to a disc only Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon demo disc (as does Paul), but without a sleeve.

After tossing the disc into my game system, one of the opening screens states its a Toys R Us test drive disc. Considering the Crash Team Racing TRU and Twisted Metal III TRU discs came in black / white sleeves, this was my speculated guesstimate on the sleeve's look.
