Here is why age of conan sucks
Terrible customer service. See my thread on the age of conan forums.
The only quests that are fun are the main storyline quests.
I want to continue to play the main storyline quests but i have to level up to 15 and im level 13 and the only way to level up is to do boring pointless quests with crap rewards.
Way to much lag. I have 2 gigs of ram and a 7600 GT. I should be able to play the game with a bit of lag. I dont want to watch a slideshow.
Crafting only at level 40. That is just plain stupid.
If Funcom focused on the quests more then the graphics im sure the game would be great.

I think age of conan does what it sets out to do, be a hack n' slash mmo. It does plenty right and plenty wrong just like any other mmo on the market.

The game does have many stupid fucking annoying AS HELL bugs i'll give you that, but it's still fun to play regardless, but for this reason and this reason alone I have stopped playing it and took advantage of Sony's legacy promotion.

Playing Everquest, Everquest 2, Everquest: Online Adventures, Vanguard, The Matrix Online, Pirates of the Burning Sea (enjoying this one the most atm), Planetside, and Star Wars Galaxies....yes I have them all lol, i'll be fine till they fix all the problems with AoC (which is quite extensive).

Nothing will ever beat the original EQ anyway. :p

As far as basic MMOs go it's a bit ahead of the curve over every one else.
That said, Like WoW, EQ, Vanguard, RF, and everything else out there that isn't Old-PS, Pre-CU SWG, or Castor EVE.

It sucks.

I did like the storyline missions though ;p after you get off the noob island they're not really fun anymore though, but you got other cool stuff like guild owned cities (while useless, is cool ;p + your personal farming ground)
