I have had my Swap Magic set for over a year now. The DVD version works perfectly in my slim PS2.
But, the CD version is a different story: no matter what, my PS2 will not play it.
I have tried cleaning the disc, the lens, and even standing the console on it's side to see if that would make a difference. Nothing.
Before you say that my disc is defective, let me make this clear: my brother's slim boots it up immediately without any issues whatsoever.
When my slim tries to boot it, the screen sits there for a minute and then it goes to the main menu followed by the error screen.
Even stranger, this slim will boot any CD game I put in it, EXCEPT for the swap magic.
So, are there any fixes for this annoying situation?
