Xbox 360 Saves Transfer

Ok, so I have a bit of a problem, when I got my 360 a few days ago I didn't have it hooked up to the internet at first, so I created and offline profile and started playing GTAIV, now, I just got it connected back to live and recovered my gamertag, but now, to my dismay I can't load my old GTA saves when I'm logged into the live account.

Is there a way to transfer the saves from one profile to the other so Live can update with all of my achievements and such; and can I also get rid of the offline profile?

Don't think that's possible, seeing that the saves are tied to the individual tag.

well shit, what if I get a memory card, transfer the save to it on one profile, then load up the game in the live profile and play oof the memory card and then save to the HDD.

Anyone know if that will work, cause I'm like 15 hours in and I really don't wanna restart, or have to deal with constantly switching profiles now.

You you log in the save from the profile you started it on and then play the game from your main account YOU may be able to access it. But as started before saves are tied to the profile that created it.
