Nes Top Loader Heats up PPu CPU

Ok before I attempt anything I want to ask the pros hear what you think would be causing the chips to heat up as soon as the power is on,,I removed Q1 the transistor and lifted pin 21 on the board for the video mod but now it just heats up any suggestions?

You have a short somwhere. Without seeing the board it would be hard to tell where. Do you have a multimeter nearby? Hate to say it, may be easier and more time effiecient to find a new nes.
