So my Gray Original Nes plays all real gray cartridges fine, but when I try to load an unlicensed game from my collection like Firehawk and Master Chu and the Drunkard Hu, it keeps blinking and I have no way of loading the game.

Does anybody else experience the same problem loading unlicensed games? or do I need to upgrade to a Retro Duo nes/snes combo to eliminate these problems?

NES systems and games have a lockout mechanisms, if the cart doesn't have a matching chip (or a way around it) it won't boot.

You can disable the lockout chip on your system. I did, on mine. I don't remember how I did it though :p

Can't you play the game through a Game Genie?
