I'm not sure of how many people here know of this, but for nearly this entire decade, european PC games have been sold in regular DVD cases compared to how nearly all NA PC games have been sold in double-sized DVD cases or small cardboard boxes. I'm pretty big on having a collector's edition of a game whenever there is one available, so I've been wondering- are european collector's editions usually packaged in single DVD cases or what? I've been thinking of picking up a number of european PC DVD cases to save some shelf space and aesthetics, and I wanted to be truly sure about the case with collector's editions before I go all out.
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Definitely the wrong forum. :p
It actually depends on the game. Alone in the Dark CE came with a ton of stuff in a special box / case thing, for example.

We usually get dumb custom-sized boxes, larger-than-normal metal/carton cases and stuff like that. What games did you have in mind? Many MMORPG tend to get bigger carton cases even for normal releases. It's a bit messy now; it was funnier when all games had huge carton boxes.

Well, to be more specific, just PC collector's editions that come in normal plastic casings. It seems like ones that come in special packaging like Oblivion or Prey are the same size wherever you go, but I'm also wondering about ones that come in tin casings.
Since you're in Europe, do you have any PC collector's editions yourself? Could you show off some examples if possible?

Bump- can someone atleast just post photos of a few so I can give an idea? Or what they've seen in stores over in Europe?
