I come across these plushies every once in a while... small ones and big ones, nice ones (soft and cuddly) and styrofoam filled icky ones.

Do you all collect these as well as games consoles signs glasses and other swag from the industry?.... and where / how do you all store them?

My favorite two are

1. Giant Bowser (Our "Room of Doom" mascot) and

2. Ancient Mario... I'll have to dig Mario out to show you all... he is from ~ 1984 (old school).

I have never come across another Bowser like this though. any one else have one?
( I have a leatherman opened to 8 inches in front of him for scale).

He is almost two feet tall and made By Nintendo... which i live about ten miles south of (Redmond WA).

Let's see those cute scary collectible game history based Plushies folks... show me (and more importantly my wife) that I am not the only wacko that collects them!

I too have a yoshi... He is part of a collection (yoshi, mario, lugi, wario, bowser, etc) (Regular size).. I am thinking about collecting the rest of them.. I remember when I found him in Kmart years ago in a bin, I was like OMG! I have to have you (yoshi) LOL
Till this day he sits on top of my TV.

I have a few but of course the one that everyone asks about is the giant Sonic...

Flea market find for a couple bucks, might of actually been a dollar - I'd need to dig up the finds thread. Anyway, he sits at my dining room table these days.

My giant sonic resides in my office, often on a couch.

I have smaller versions of him and as well Knuckles and Tails there.

Sad ...when one has to use office space for storage when room at home has become minimal...

Great conversation starters though....

I got a whackload of Nintendo plushes from the store in NWC's Belluevue office a few months ago. I love stuffies :D

And using office space for storage: My frogger cocktail is at the end of my desk ;)

I thought... Once ... of having an arcade machine in my office as well but... well... didn't do it.

Professors aren't supposed to have stuff like that in their offices....

Go for it.

Just turn the volume down.

And keep it quarter fed, you'll make easy coffee money :D

I don't collect them per se, but if I find one at a thrift for a good price I'll snatch it up and give it to my kids. So towards that end we've accumulated a few Sonics and Pikachus of assorted sizes.

The last really good one I had was a medium sized Wario, which I wound up trading to one of my son's friends for a plushie of - wait for it - Richard Nixon. Good trade!

I guess I have the "medium Sonic" from that same line. I also have a small plushie Sonic in my car. My ridin' buddy. When I take a corner too fast he rolls from side to side in the backseat.

I'd kill Nuns on Summer Solstice or All Hallows Eve for a plush Q*Bert. I'd also consider it for Knickerbocker Ms.Pacs.

I nab plushies whenever I can and my favorite so far is my K.K. Slider. I'm just a sucker for Animal Crossing stuff for some reason.

I have an imported 8" Toon Link, 10" Kirby, and the entire Natsume set (minus the chicken....still searching!)

I've got three Carbuncle Puyo Puyo plushes that I've gotten my hands on over the years. One is pretty big, like 18" tall and holding a green puyo. I also have two smaller Carbuncles, one fuzzy and one that talks.

I have a 12" Tails doll somewhere, but it's in storage because it only brings back bad memories.

I do however have a 6" tall Psyduck on my computer desk. :p

only pick them up when i see them, if they're not gaming, care bear, pokemon, or just don't look really cool I don't mess with them.
Also just found out they made sailor moon ones and am thinking I need a small army of them.:rockets:

I have a few, but don't actively seek them out. I've got a WWII Conker and a Harvest Moon Cow that are both really cool.

Where do YOU sleep?

:-)

I sleep wherever I happen to fall down after spending 8-10 hours a day at work, wishing I could do this :smash: to some of the people I speak to.

In all seriousness, I just put those up for the picture. They usually line up in the back of the room, and the Phoenix plushie makes a nice pillow.

The Pikachu collection was mostly donated by friends and family when they've run out of ideas for birthday presents. There's just something special about a cute little animal that can make things eat electric death.

I have a large collection, but the "holy grail" of sorts is the Diddy Kong plush I got at Toys 'R Us back in 1998.

One day to go, let the bidding war continue...

Sega Christmas NiGHTS UFO catcher (http://cgi.ebay.com/Rare-Sega-NIGHTS-INTO-DREAMS-UFO-CHRISTMAS-plush-doll_W0QQitemZ350097976356QQihZ022QQcategoryZ11988 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem).

I'm not in the fight for that but I will say that the seller used to be my favorite eBay seller to do business with back when I had tons of disposable income. I bought lots of UFO catchers as gifts (mainly the Animal Crossing and Super Monkey Ball ones) as well as my dancing maracas PaRappa (http://www.ncsxshop.com/cgi-bin/shop/PPR-01B.html).

I love video game plushies! About half my collection is Sonic related plushies, and the half are Pokemon ones.

I don't own any rare plushies. Most of mine are U.S. made. However, I do own two Japanese Sonic X UFO plushies. (Knuckles and Chris Thorndyke)

I only have 2 videogame plushies: the cow from Harvest Moon (bought off DP's booth at CGE 2K5) and Donkey Kong. I admit that I wouldn't mind a Yoshi plushie or even a Slime one (from Dragon Quest)...

If I see NES ones, yah. I have some Mario ones. Hard to find though... everything seems to be SNES or newer.
