Radica Genesis AC Adapter question

I'm cleaning up my collection.

I found a loose Radica Genesis unit, but with no AC adapter. I've got an extra Genesis 2 AC adapter. The power ratings don't match :(

Did the Radica Genesis units come with an AC adapter or did it require you use AA's unless you buy the AC adapter separately?

I think the Radica Genesis was one of those "plug n play" type games, which I think typically didn't come with AC adapters -- rather you had to buy the AA's for it.

The Radica "plug & play" games don't come packed with a power supply when new....But, Radica has a power supply (sold separately) compatible with most of its devices....I've seen it, and if I can recall well, the power adapter is rated at 6V
