Found a boxed complete copy of Ultima I remake edition (1986) for the PC. It includes 4 maps, coins, a coin bag, custom printed manuals, etc... Pretty sweet for $5 at Goodwill! I saw the Apple IIe version going for $50 on eBay with a week to go.

ARCZero: I sold my Ultima I 1986 remake to a crazed japanese collector on ebay for$ 117 US about 3 years ago! PC version... good find if you ask me. :)

Donkey Kong Board Game for 1.50. Too bad its missing some pieces (including DK himself). Pretty cool though, as its my very first U.S. Video Game board game.

Also, A friend visiting Japan picked me up one of those SNES-style GC controllers for half what the major websites are selling them for.

The same friend just e-mailed me and told me he got a brand new Dragon Quest 6 for Super Famicom for $18. Sweet! Now if he can only find me an original Gitaroo Man soundtrack, I'll be very happy :D .

I know the feeling. Usually the stuff I buy at thrifs and pawns and fleas is all trade bait...I'd say, 75% of it, because I use it to trade for the few things I still DO want. Seems the longer I collect, the shorter my list gets, especially since I don't collect EVERY game for most systems.

On an unrelated note, anyone notice how often people are finding TG16/Duo stuff lately? It amazes me..I NEVER find that stuff in the wild!

had my best find in a LONG LONG TIME today... Grabbed a practically new Dreamcast system and 7 NES games (Final Fantasy, Contra, Zelda 2 grey, Zelda 1 gold, Kid Icarus, Mike Tysons Punchout and Ikari Warriors all for $30. Was quite proud of my find! =)

She said that she is gonna save me all the promotional items she gets every week.
Her son works in a Video Game store.


One guy I know..(who is expensive)had some pong systems..

He had a Telstar Arcade but the steering wheel was missing..Well half of it...and the cart was gone.
I have one but I may try and talk him down..next week for it anyway.

Then the topper for me was ..a vendor I know had a Virtual Boy store Display unit...with the Virtual Boy still on it.
I'm gonna try and pick this up next week.,,providing he doesn't sell it.
It's kinda big..
