This used to be a list of notable $10 and under DS games at GameStop. I've removed it since I am no longer able to keep it accurately updated. Feel free to lock this thread if necessary.

Wow, Neves is only $8.99? Might have to move on that one.

Zoo Keeper is the best "Bejeweled" game I've ever played.

Great 2 player mode as well.

Looks like I may have to go to my local Gamestop and look for a few of these.

You mean EB Games in Canada? I wouldn't know.

Star Trek: Tactical Assault and Orcs and Elves (which is $8.99) have been added to the list.

Hmmm I might have to pick up Deep Labyrinth, $6.99 isn't bad.

GameStop recently dropped prices on several DS games, so the first post has been updated. For your convenience, here are the games that have been added or had a price drop:

Battles of Prince of Persia - $5.99
Classic Action: Devilish - $5.99
Gunpey DS - $4.99
Lost Magic - $6.99
Magical Starsign - $9.99
Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits - $4.99
Nanostray - $9.99
Ontamarama - $8.99
Pac Pix - $6.99
Puyo Pop Fever - $7.99
The Rub Rabbits - $7.99
Scurge: Hive - $4.99
Space Invaders Revolution - $6.99
Teenage Zombies - $8.99 used, $9.99 new
True Swing Golf - $4.99
Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble - $5.99

I also added Sprung, since it's $2.99 (and it's the only used DS game that's under $4.99). However, it's only recommended for completists and masochists.

GameStop recently did another round of price drops on DS games, but hardly anything under $10. There was only one worth adding: Spectrobes ($9.99).

There is no shortage of great games on that list. I somewhat recently played through Orcs & Elves and thought it was pretty awesome, had a very old school feel which was a pleasant surprise. Heres to hoping some day Doom RPG gets a port as well.

BTW if everyone reading this thread is looking for good & cheap games on the DS then Exit DS just came out at _$19.99_ new. A steal at that price if it's any where near as good as the PSP/XBLA games. Support games like Exit DS will ya? :P Series like this should NOT have to struggle. I'm waiting for my copy to arrive.. soon yesss....

There was another round of DS price drops recently. Here's what's been added to the list:

Exit - $8.99 used, $9.99 new
The Legend of Kage 2 - $8.99 used, $9.99 new
Pipe Mania - $9.99 used
Space Invaders Extreme - $7.99 used, $9.99 new

Everyone should eye Legend of Kage 2. If you want a game that brings back the old school action platformer feel from the NES/SNES days, that game is the ticket.

Great list. Thanks for putting it together. I payed somewhere around $20.00 for a lot of those titles, and they are worth it at that price. I still need to get Exit DS, and Legend of Kage II though.

I'd recommend Feel the Magic and Rub Rabbits to anyone who doesn't own the games already. In my opinion, they'd be up on the list as two of the best games the DS has to offer(not the best two, but they're up there among the best.)

Also pick up Space Invaders Extreme. Everyone should pick that up as it's the definitive version in my opinion. It's not too old school to where newer gamers won't like it, but it's got that same classic charm so that everyone who still loves the original Space Invaders will still love this one.

Final Fantasy III is one of the "used deals of the week," and starting today until the 29th, it's $9.99.

Elite Beat Agents - $9.99
Prism: Light the way - $7.99 used, $9.99 new

Elite Beat Agents and Spectrobes are currently "used deals of the week" and are $4.99 each.

I also added Meteos ($9.99) to the list, and updated the price on Exit DS - for some reason, the used price was raised from $8.99 to $9.99.

It was bumped because they are doing the GamerDay sale and Exit is on that list (for 9.99 no less). They are trying to sell the new copies before the used ones.

Went out and got Exit DS today for $9.99 listed as new (and appeared to be new). I've only played it for a few minutes and it looks promising. Can't wait to play it more. Metal Slug 7 and FFT:A2 were there for $14.99 and $19.99 respectively. Can anyone give feedback on those?

I just picked up my first DS, and I've been needing some games to try on it. I'm glad I saw this thread! I'll have to put aside my dislike of GameStop and pop into one of the eight hundred locations in a 50 mile radius of me.

FFT:A2 is a nice game especially for only $19.99. It is a bit easy, but it gives you a nice variety of classes and customization options. Much better than the FFT for GameBoy, which overwhelmed you with its judging system, jails, and getting new characters after every battle.

Is it better than FFT for the PSP? I find that to be a confusing mess :(
