WTB: Dead TG/PCE CD drive

I'm looking for a dead Turbografx or PC Engine CD drive. It has to have a working control board (i.e. it says "PC" when you try to start a game), but other than that I'm not picky. Hell, you can just send the board.

I might also entertain offers of a working (or partially working) drive.

How much are you looking to spend? Mine works for audio CDs, but doesn't get in game with PC Engine CDs. I don't have the power cord, though. I was using a radio shack universal power cord, but I'm not selling that because I use it for other things.

For all I know it works and I'm doing something wrong. I have a Duo now, though so I don't need to find out. I also have the CD System card that came with it, and the thing that connects it to the TG16.

The last dead drive I saw went for around $10, but that was a while ago. Would $20 shipped be OK?

What's the specs on the power supply you were using? Your drive might not even be all that dead. If you're lucky, a laser adjustment might get it working enough to play a few games.
