Hi, I was going to buy a Nintendo 64 game on ebay and then I realized the seller was in Canada. My question is are their any differences between Canadian and American N64 games including the box and cart?

The Canadian will have both french & english writing it
that may affect value. some game play might be in french
Example Kirby's Adventure (nes)
A sealed french Kirby's Adventure is worth $10,$15 usd a American/english
one is worth about $80,$90 usd

To who? I've never seen french/english packaging more valuable anywhere except Quebec. In fact, most people don't like it and prefer to have the US releases of games.
To answer though, the games are identical, but occasionally some games will have an option for french text (newer ones mostly, like PS2 and later). Boxes will sometimes be in French and English...but usually only 1st party (like Nintendo or Sony).

That what I meant people don't like having the french writing on it
so it might be worth less others games it might be worth more (harder to find)

I have a few nes games that have french writing on it Zelda, Kung Fu, Mega Man 2 ect...

Some games have both languages, they've also been known to double shrinkwrap a French manual into it - replacing the "normal" back of the game with a french/bilingual back cover.
Generally I peel off the first layer, toss the french manual and put the sealed one on the shelf for later ;)

Only place that I know of that has both french and english on a game is on the back, not on the spine, or the front. Who reads the back anyways? lol. on the N64 games its the small writing on the back of the cart that tells you what not to do with that game, thats the only french on the cart atleast, not sure about the box. I don't see why it would be a big deal? if I had a game that had a little spanish writing on it, I wouldn't care.

I'm trying to collect every US N64 game CIB and I found one on Ebay that I needed and if it has french writing on it I don't think it would count. Thanks for the help guys.

well technically its made in the USA but has French on the back for the French people in Canada where it gets distributed to. Everything it Identical to a "normal" version but has a few French words.

Yea, but in the end I think the collection as a whole would be worth more if every game was identical. Just my opinion.
